Director, Business Risk

Job Summary
Oversee APAC business risk adherence to policies and practices, managing operational risk events on a consultative basis. Connect APAC business functions with global risk specialists, engage with entity boards, and undertake risk reporting to support the execution of the global risk framework. Champion organizational risk culture, develop comprehensive risk assessments, and consult with management to respond to risks appropriately. Lead policy development to mitigate significant risks, serve as the escalation point for APAC risk issues, and support the deployment of the business continuity program. Provide ad hoc guidance on risk management policies and assist in developing data-driven analysis for senior management decision-making. Report to the Head of Business Risk EMEA & APAC, leading a small regional team across Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 10+ years of total relevant work experience
- preferably in asset management or banking
- Combination of post-graduate and/or professional certifications (accounting, FRM, CFA, etc.)
- Experience of APAC regulation
- Fluent English (written and spoken )
