Job Summary
Director-level role leading and running the operational infrastructure behind A1, including multi-country business operations, office setup, payroll, vendor management, and recruiting operations. Manages a team of Business Operations Partners, oversees market launches and local compliance, and drives execution across recruiting, finance, legal, and administrative functions. Responsible for events, operational logistics, and continuous process improvements to enhance speed and reliability. Emphasis on independent decision-making, high ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a hands-on environment. Interviews may be virtual or onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in business operations, strategic operations, founder’s office, or similar roles
- Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
- Comfortable working across recruiting, finance, legal, and administrative functions
- Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and drive execution independently
- High ownership and willingness to take responsibility for outcomes
- Lead and develop a team of Business Operations Partners
- Experience coordinating office setup, entity incorporation, and market launches
- Payroll implementation and local operational requirements
- Vendor management and external service providers
- Recruiting operations support and recruiter onboarding
- Event planning and operational logistics
- Tracking key initiatives and driving timely completion
- Ability to streamline processes to increase speed and reliability
- Experience working in or with multiple countries
