Job Summary
Director, Business & Legal Affairs - Corporate M&A role overseeing global M&A, strategic investments, joint ventures, divestitures, and other corporate transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating engagement letters, NDAs, term sheets, JV and asset/equity purchase agreements; driving due diligence; coordinating internal stakeholders and outside counsel; leading cross-functional workstreams with Finance, Strategy, Tax, HR, Operations; providing general corporate governance advice; improving diligence and execution workflows. Requires JD, NY Bar, 3+ years in major law firm handling complex M&A, strong drafting/negotiation, collaborative mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities; willingness to support broader corporate legal needs beyond M&A.
Required Qualifications
- JD from a reputable law school
- Admitted to the New York Bar and in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at a major law firm with significant responsibility in supporting complex M&A transactions
