Job Summary
Director, Business Development at Vaco leads client relationships and professional networking across industries, generating sales and revenue while managing open job orders from intake to fulfillment. The role requires establishing and developing client relationships, prospecting via phone/email, maintaining a target account list, collaborating cross-line of business, and utilizing an ATS to log activity. Ideal candidates possess strong communication, leadership, relationship-building, and adaptability skills, with a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of B2B sales (advanced experience considered in lieu of degree). Compensation includes a base salary with uncapped commission, plus benefits and perks such as five-star vacations for top performance, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development. Travel is expected at <10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years’ B2B sales
- Proven success achieving and/or exceeding performance goals
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Salesforce experience is highly desired
