Job Summary
Direct the SLTT-focused business development and sales programs as a Director, driving revenue strategy, pipeline governance, and post-sale customer success across State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial markets. Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Proposals, Capture, and Operations to grow market share and profitability. Responsibilities include building and leading a sales team, maintaining CRM data, supporting go/no-go decisions for capture and proposals, developing revenue strategies, coordinating campaigns for lead generation and customer acquisition, ensuring customer satisfaction, and reporting on financial performance. Travel 50-75% for client work and events. Requires strategic thinking, executive presence, strong communication, and negotiation skills, with experience in SLTT markets and complex deals; familiarity with Emergency Management, CDBG-DR, and government grant programs; 8–12 years in sales leadership or business development; Bachelor’s degree preferred; remote work option.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years in sales leadership or business development with SLTT markets and complex deals
- Experience in disaster recovery, emergency management, technology, or infrastructure is preferred
- Knowledge of Emergency Management, CDBG-DR, and other government grant programs is required or preferred
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proven track record of revenue growth and pipeline management using CRM tools
- Ability to travel 50-75% as needed
- Experience coordinating with Marketing, Proposals, Capture, and Operations
