Job Summary
Lead growth initiatives for Vorbeck's Signal Technologies within the DoW and Intelligence Community; identify, pursue, and capture high-probability opportunities, and maintain a robust pipeline. Manage customer and relationship activities with DoW/IC acquisition leaders and industrial partners, and work with engineering, product development, and leadership teams to align requirements with Vorbeck's conformal antennas, EMI shielding, and graphene-enabled technologies. Own proposal and technical-response development, presentations, and white papers in collaboration with engineering and leadership. Represent the company at industry conferences and meetings, and monitor market trends to identify growth opportunities. Role involves significant cross-functional collaboration, travel (25-50%), and requires SCI-access experience. Based primarily in the Columbia, MD office with hybrid or remote arrangements considered based on experience and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in business development, DoW or IC sales, account management, or a related customer-facing role
- 5+ years’ experience working with or within DoW, the IC, or defense contractors supporting the DoW or the IC
- Experience working with the U.S. Government agencies, defense contractors, aerospace organizations, or related technology-focused markets
- 5+ years’ experience identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities
- Experience supporting proposal development and RFI responses is required
