Job Summary
Director, Business Development led dual externally focused and inside BD efforts to aggressively source, pitch, and onboard new institutional counterparties including market makers, FCMs, clearing firms, and prime brokers; drive liquidity and volume growth, onboard ISVs for connectivity, and deepen wallet share with existing clients. Collaborates with clearing, product, and joint-venture teams to enable end-to-end commercial lifecycle, driving adoption of new event contracts and expanding across derivatives spaces. Requires a strong track record (10+ years) in institutional BD or sales within derivatives exchanges or prime brokerage, deep market structure fluency, and solid technical understanding of institutional trading tech stacks and connectivity. Education requirement specified as Bachelor’s degree; role is full-time and located in Chicago, IL or New York City, NY with hybrid work arrangement.
