Job Summary
Director – Business Development & Marketing leads strategy, growth, and brand for B&D Industries, owning the full business development lifecycle from identifying opportunities to crafting proposals and cultivating client relationships. Oversees marketing strategy, digital presence, content, campaigns, and community engagement to ensure the company’s reputation reflects quality and culture. Balances strategic vision with execution, coaches a high-performing team, optimizes CRM workflows, and leverages data to drive measurable outcomes. Responsibilities include developing growth strategies aligned with the Board and Executive Team, guiding pipeline health and market trends, leading cross-functional collaboration, leading CRM adoption, and driving brand strategy and lead generation. Travel may be required; demands include advanced computer proficiency, critical thinking, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Marketing, or closely related discipline — preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industry
- Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) including implementation, optimization, and team adoption
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop strategy, and deliver measurable growth outcomes
- Travel may be required as needed
