Job Summary

Drive strategic partnership growth with healthcare systems, clinical networks, employer organizations, and educational institutions to support enrollment and revenue objectives for West Coast University's online and graduate programs. Identify, cultivate, and secure high-value partnerships while building a robust pipeline through proactive outreach and executive-level engagement. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Admissions, Academics, and Compliance teams to align partnership activities with enrollment goals and ensure seamless implementation of agreements. Develop compelling presentations and business cases to articulate employer ROI, leveraging market research and competitive intelligence to tailor value propositions. Represent the university at industry events and conferences to generate visibility and uncover new opportunities. Manage existing partner relationships post-contract, tracking performance metrics in CRM systems and ensuring smooth handoffs to implementation teams. Maintain regular business hours with frequent travel estimated at 50–75% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnership development, B2B sales, or strategic account management
  • Experience in healthcare, higher education, or edtech sectors
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, and closing complex partnership or business agreements with mid-to-senior-level decision-makers, including C-suite executives
  • Strong consultative selling and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to navigate extended sales cycles
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or providing informal leadership to team members in a business development or sales environment
