Job Summary
Director, Army Advanced Effects, leads the BD efforts for ground and air launched advanced effects for the US Army and international partners. Build and capture opportunities, develop capture strategies, translate client needs into product requirements, coordinate with engineering and program management, shape requirements, identify funding, and drive win themes for competitive captures. Manage engagements with current and future clients, inform technology development plans, and lead proposal and capture efforts. Travel up to 50-75% is required; must be eligible for a Top Secret clearance. Role emphasizes ownership of the Advanced Effects business line within Anduril’s Air Dominance and Strike Division and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure client satisfaction and program success.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years experience in creating or supporting new missiles/weapons programs, including requirements definition and acquisition strategies.
- Prior experience working with US Army program offices / customers.
- Prior acquisition or operational experience with missile systems across across surface fires, air launched effects, and the air defense domains, across a variety of roles and missions.
- Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers.
- Ability to travel 50% – 75% required.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
