Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of Versaterm's global communications strategy, driving proactive media engagement and managing PR agency partnerships to strengthen the company's position as an industry leader. Own the enterprise content strategy across corporate channels, develop integrated editorial calendars, and steward brand positioning while guiding the creation of compelling creative assets. Oversee corporate announcements, product launches, and strategic narratives that highlight innovation and customer impact, partnering with Executive Leadership, Product, and Sales teams to align brand priorities with go-to-market initiatives. Establish performance metrics, foster a culture of collaboration, and integrate AI and emerging technologies into the function to drive market awareness and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or related fields
- 5 years of leadership experience
- Experience developing and evolving brand positioning, messaging and corporate narratives in a high-growth B2B technology environment
- Strong media relations expertise
- Experience managing and collaborating with creative and communications agencies
- Exceptional storytelling, writing and executive communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technology and business strategies into compelling, human-centered narratives
- Experience developing SEO-informed content strategies that improve discoverability, audience engagement and the performance of digital programs
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve development, workflows and team effectiveness
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
- Security clearance from the Government of Canada
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Reliability security clearance
