Director (AVP) - Private Equity Accounting Operations

Job Summary
Manage operational and portfolio management support activities for a global private equity program across primary funds, co-investing, and secondaries. Act as a subject matter expert to monitor critical investment activity, ensuring proper transaction settlement and general ledger posting. Reconcile transactions, valuations, management fees, and carried interest calculations on a monthly and quarterly basis. Verify investor capital account balances and interpret underlying fund financial statements for internal fair valuation committee meetings. Develop external relationships with business stakeholders and third-party providers while overseeing controls for complex structures like leveraged corporate blockers. Perform quarterly compliance reporting and sign-off on net asset value and performance information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, or related business field
- A minimum of five years of investment accounting experience
- Prior experience in private equity or real estate investment accounting
- Role is Hybrid and will require in office attendance 3 days/week
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hedge fund accounting and/or derivatives
- Experience with Investran
