Job Summary
Establish and maintain quality frameworks, methodologies, and policies for assurance engagements outside the Audit & Assurance service line. Build and manage a risk-based monitoring framework to assess engagement quality, identify emerging risks, and prepare reporting for firm leadership. Design, implement, and oversee a firm-wide assurance engagement inspection program, including scope determination, execution, and remediation plan development. Lead root cause analysis of quality findings to drive continuous improvement and capability-building initiatives across service lines. Partner with stakeholders to embed quality requirements into engagement delivery processes and facilitate technical consultations on complex assurance matters.
Required Qualifications
- strong background in external audit and assurance gained from a reputable professional services firm
- advanced knowledge of International Standards on Auditing and Assurance
- CA Qualified or equivalent
- Experience in audit quality initiatives and activities, including file inspections, regulatory reviews, the design and production of resources, and the design and facilitation of learning sessions
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively
- Experience developing and implementing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
