Job Summary
Direct day-to-day floor operations of technicians, including set and strike, and scheduling. Manage an efficient and profitable AV and Business Center operation, focusing on revenue maximization and cost control. Supervise security, inventory control, transportation, and equipment maintenance while ensuring all employees are properly trained. Maintain positive public relations with the hotel account and review and approve client billing. Meet with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment setup is functioning properly. Promote and reinforce positive working environments centered on core values while driving professional development and training efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of event planning experience, with demonstrated success planning and executing large-scale events
- Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, or related field
- Deep knowledge of event planning logistics, budget management, and project management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in event management software, such as Cvent, Eventbrite, Salesforce, etc.
- Familiarity with event marketing and promotion tactics, such as social media and email marketing
