Job Summary
Lead commercial decision making around base performance trends, risks, and opportunities through consolidation of financials and business analytics. Oversee division financial planning activities, including compilation and analysis of management review packages for Latest Best Estimates and Division P&Ls for planning and month-end actuals. Coordinate financial submissions to Corporate, manage bi-weekly and month-end sales reporting with dotted-line oversight of retail projections, and establish clear expectations for business unit teams. Perform or coordinate ad hoc analyses for upper-level management and the Division Controller, while managing employee coaching and development for exempt individuals. Work 20% of the time traveling within the Columbus, OH location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent/relevant business discipline
- 10 years of relevant work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with finance and non-finance professionals at all levels
- Leadership and supervisory aptitude
- Strong interpersonal and professional relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and competing priorities
- Demonstrated initiative, analytical thinking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage broad responsibilities independently with minimal supervision and under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of financial processes, accounting principles, and division-specific operations
- Ability to analyze data, identify risks, develop recommendations, and implement solutions
- Proficiency with computer software applications
