Job Summary
Directs LIIF’s Asset Management team and portfolio of affordable housing, childcare facilities, charter schools, and community facilities loans; oversees asset-management activities including credit monitoring, risk assessment, construction disbursement oversight, loan conversions and workouts; leads staff development, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration to minimize delinquencies and optimize portfolio performance; ensures compliance with loan documentation and monitoring procedures; travels to LIIF offices nationwide for portfolio oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate-based lending and/or business lending
- Experience managing staff
- Proficiency in analyzing financial statements for-profit and nonprofit organizations
- Familiarity with accounting principles and government funding sources for multi-family housing and community facilities
- Experience with both private sector and public agencies
- Knowledge of loan documents, contracts, and collateral
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software
- Strong multitasking and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, business administration or finance; intro to accounting; advanced degree preferred
