Director Application Platforms

Director Application Platforms leads the strategic vision and delivery of the travel insurance application platforms, overseeing external partners and internal teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include defining solution plans with enterprise architecture, directing development teams through design, development, testing, debugging and release, collaborating across global technology groups to ensure cohesive, business-aligned outcomes, managing managed service partners for 24/7 support, and driving platform delivery, roadmaps, development standards, and innovation (including AI) while mentoring team members and ensuring software quality standards. The role emphasizes leadership, platform delivery, collaboration with PMO, and leveraging AI to enhance delivery outcomes in a hybrid work setting based out of San Diego, CA.
