Job Summary
Lead the delivery of application development programs within the Markets Engineering team, overseeing multiple projects and lifecycle phases across securities finance platforms. Drive collaboration with business stakeholders to define and implement technology solutions that improve performance and impact revenue or cost. Manage production systems, establish support processes, allocate resources, and promote best-practice development to ensure availability, stability, and integrity. Recruit, mentor, and develop teams, foster innovation, and communicate status to leadership and stakeholders. Requires 12+ years in systems analysis and application development, a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (advanced degree beneficial), and strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
- 12+ years of experience in systems analysis and application development including supervisory/management responsibilities
- proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing technology teams
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- experience managing large-scale application development initiatives across diverse technologies and platforms
- strong understanding of software development lifecycle, production support, and best-practice development methodologies
- experience in financial services or securities industry preferred
