Job Summary
Oversee and lead an Advanced Practice Provider service line, managing inpatient and outpatient operations, strategy, and compliance. Develop and execute strategic plans with executive leadership, optimize practice performance against state and Emory regulations, and drive service line growth through collaboration with physician and administrative teams. Manage the full APP lifecycle including hiring, on-boarding, remediation, and annual performance reviews, while maintaining a 50/50 split between clinical duties and leadership responsibilities. Round on all locations regularly and engage in monthly leadership meetings to foster team engagement and retention.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years clinical experience as an Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse, Physician Assistant, or Certified Nurse Midwife, or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, or Certified Anesthesiology Assistant program
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body
- Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Certified as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA)
- Certified as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- Masters degree or higher
