Job Summary
Director, Alternative Investment Project Management and Strategic Initiatives will program manage alternative product launches and other alts initiatives, coordinating activities across Product, Product Governance, Legal, Compliance, TO, Investment Operations, FFIO, Distribution and Marketing/Communications and others. The role involves identifying tasks, resources, and dependencies to launch new alternative products, developing repeatable processes and frameworks to support alternatives, and engaging with senior management across Fidelity. The candidate should synthesize complex ideas for diverse audiences, navigate ambiguity, and demonstrate executive presence while leading cross-functional collaboration and driving large, strategic initiatives. A preference for an MBA or advanced degree and extensive experience in financial services and asset management is noted; immigration sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years work experience in financial services
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong understanding of the asset management industry (alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity, real assets, direct lending, and structured products) is a plus
- Ability to break down sophisticated products and structures for various levels of staff
- Outstanding collaboration skills and ability to partner and influence across a variety of senior stakeholders
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
