Director, ALAS APAC & India & Middle East Sales

Job Summary
Lead regional sales organization for ALAS across APAC, India, and the Middle East, directing strategic growth and driving profitability. Set commercial strategy, manage a growing regional team (initially 2 direct reports in India and Kuala Lumpur), and own Order Intake goals from $10–$50MM in 2026. Oversee high-value contract negotiations and act as executive sponsor across Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure proposal-to-project execution. Maintain deep understanding of target markets and membrane technologies across ALAS units, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies, and provide market feedback to Air Liquide leadership. Ensure safety and governance adherence throughout the sales and proposal lifecycle. Strong emphasis on leadership, cross-region collaboration, and the ability to lead complex technical and commercial engagements in the gas processing and cryogenics space.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Science or Engineering (Chemical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical preferred)
- 10+ years of managerial, customer relationship and sales environment experience or equivalent
- Expertise in sales with a focus on business development in technology
- Experience in gas processing technology, preferably membranes, with hands-on commercial and technical proposal management background
- Experience in cryogenics and gas separations; experience with membranes preferred
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
