Director, AI Value Creation & Delivery, Global Finance

Job Summary
Director-level leadership role responsible for defining and leading the AI strategy and roadmap for Global Finance, establishing an AI Center of Excellence, identifying and delivering high-impact AI use cases across financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and controls, and driving enterprise-wide AI adoption, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Partners with Technology, Data, Risk, Talent and Business leaders to enable scalable AI solutions and ensure alignment with finance transformation objectives. Oversees governance, ethics, and risk management for AI initiatives, leads cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy AI-enabled solutions, champions data-driven culture, tracks ROI and benefits realization, provides thought leadership on AI trends, and ensures day-to-day operations comply with risk frameworks and guidelines. Location: Toronto, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in Finance, Strategy, or Transformation roles within large, complex organizations
- Proven leadership in AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of Finance processes (e.g., reporting, planning, forecasting, controls)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering large-scale transformation programs
- Deep knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning, and data platforms in enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment. Exceptional communications skills
- Experience with governance, risk management, and regulatory considerations related to AI and data
