Job Summary
Director, AI Transformation leads internal and external communications for AI, knowledge management, and legal-technology transformation, drives change management, and partners across Marketing, HR, IT, and leadership to align AI initiatives with the firm’s strategy. Responsibilities include delivering messaging for leadership, product launches, and firmwide updates; shaping external AI and innovation communications; coordinating enterprise change management, training, adoption measurement, and readiness efforts; coordinating with Practice Solutions, Data Science & AI Engineering, and other teams to operationalize AI initiatives; managing the department’s operations, digital workplace strategy (intranet modernization and content governance), and AI-related client/RFP materials; and supporting scalable engagement strategies, stakeholder relationships, and ongoing innovation adoption across a sophisticated professional services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Law, Organizational Leadership, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in communications, change management, organizational transformation or related discipline, including senior leadership experience managing enterprise-wide initiatives
- Significant experience in a law firm, professional services, financial services, or partnership-driven organization with stakeholder engagement and change management
- Proven success leading transformation and communication initiatives related to technology, AI, digital transformation, or operational change with measurable outcomes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts to executives, attorneys, and professionals
- Experience leading/ managing intranet, digital workplace, or enterprise communication platforms including governance, content management, and performance measurement
- Familiarity with AI-related client requirements, procurement processes, outside counsel guidelines, and RFP responses in professional services or legal environments
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership abilities with cross-functional collaboration
- Strategic thinking and operational leadership focused on driving adoption and continuous improvement
