Job Summary
Director, AI Forward Deployed Engineer leads the design, development, deployment, and ongoing optimization of agentic AI solutions embedded within business functions to address high-value use cases and accelerate transformation. Partners with business stakeholders, product teams, and domain experts to convert requirements into effective technical solutions; oversees day-to-day engineering execution; ensures AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards and governance. Drives integration with business systems and data sources, monitors performance and outcomes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enable end-to-end workflows. The role requires a Bachelor degree (advanced degree preferred) and 8+ years of AI engineering experience, with strong leadership and the ability to translate business needs into innovative AI-enabled products.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree is required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of AI engineering experience
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills across Engineering, Innovation, Design, Data Science, Commercial, and other business teams
- Experience translating business needs into scalable AI-enabled product solutions
- Ability to lead product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery for complex digital, data, or AI-enabled products
- Experience coaching and developing product managers or junior product leaders
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with platform, data, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure compliant deployment
