Job Summary
Director, Field Sales responsible for leading an existing team of Regional Sales Managers selling SOUND Agriculture’s SOURCE portfolio (nutrient-use efficiency products) and a licensed product. The role owns all revenue targets within the assigned south region, with 40%+ travel and residence required in KS, NE, AR, or MO. Key duties include coaching and developing the sales team, ride-alongs and windshield time to sharpen selling skills, planning and preparation for calls, regular performance reviews and 1-on-1s, deal strategy and close support, and building/deepening relationships with agricultural dealers. Collaboration with Marketing, Product, Agronomy, and Sustainability to drive product performance, retention, and ROI for customers; plus cross-functional efforts to launch campaigns and refine product positioning. Requires proven leadership in motivating sales teams, managing revenue growth, and delivering results in the crop inputs/agriculture space, with strong emphasis on coaching, forecasting, and dealer activation.
