Job Summary
Director (AGC), Workforce Integrity & Marketplace Compliance responsible for leading employment, labor, and marketplace compliance strategy across a fast-moving tech business; advise on employee relations, wage and hour, terminations; oversee contractor classification, onboarding, incentives, and platform labor models; collaborate with Product, Operations, Policy, Trust & Safety; develop scalable governance, policies, trainings, and investigations; monitor regulatory developments and advise on business impact; partner with outside counsel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 10+ years of experience in employment law, labor issues, and/or marketplace counseling
- Deep expertise in independent contractor classification and marketplace workforce models
- Experience counseling product and business teams in startup or high-growth technology companies
