Director, Aftermarket Operations

Job Summary

Drive aftermarket revenue growth through data-driven strategy, digital tools, and AI to increase market share, attachment rates, and margin. Lead and execute aftermarket strategies, offerings, and initiatives in partnership with strategic accounts, regional sales, and marketing. Own and optimize the end-to-end aftermarket quote-to-order process (parts, service, retrofit/rebuild), leveraging automation and AI for speed, accuracy, and scalability. Deliver on Milacron's Value Creation Plan by streamlining processes, improving forecast accuracy, and enhancing customer experience. Provide strong financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing/discount governance, and profitability management. Lead, develop, and train high-performing teams; structure effective training programs and ensure strong productivity and resource allocation. Quarterback business-critical and cross-functional projects that improve sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and revenue generation. Act as the customer advocate by deeply understanding customer needs across the value chain; own NPS and drive continuous improvement in satisfaction and demand. Oversee aftermarket operations including parts forecasting, inventory, warehousing, market intelligence, and working capital optimization. Communicate clearly and consistently with executive leadership on performance, risks, gaps, and strategic needs for the aftermarket business.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business or engineering
  • Master's degree
  • Professional experience of 10+ years in a progressively responsible sales management position
  • Demonstrated track record of leading the growth of an aftermarket business
  • Experience developing and marketing new Aftermarket solutions
  • Knowledge of technical/industrial equipment, plastics and/or plastics machines
  • Solid leadership and matrix team management skills
  • Experience upgrading teams, processes and systems
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Experience with negotiations, scheduling, and project management
  • Proven use of digital strategies to drive expansion of the business
  • Relocation assistance may be provided for those that reside outside of the Greater Cincinnati area

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical and customer service experience with the repair of capital equipment, such as plastic injection molding
  • Experience in a manufacturing equipment and service environment
