Job Summary
Director for Affinity Groups to lead the strategy and execution of fundraising across affinity groups (e.g., Women’s Brigade, Real Estate Professionals, Financial Services Sector) and to drive donor cultivation, stewardship, and engagement. Responsibilities include developing annual work plans and measurable goals, acting as primary relationship manager for a donor portfolio, identifying new prospects, designing customized stewardship plans, coordinating regional events, collaborating cross-functionally on campaigns and materials, mentoring direct reports, and ensuring compliance with policies. Must manage multiple initiatives with a high focus on people and relationships, travel locally (and occasional international travel to Israel), and exhibit an enthusiastic, persuasive communication style aligned with the mission of supporting Israel Defense Forces personnel and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 5-7 years sales or fundraising experience
- History of successfully generating new revenue streams and improving fundraising results
- Excellent written, oral, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications required
- Experience using CRM tools, Raisers Edge preferred
- Ability to travel locally; occasional international travel to Israel; evening and Sunday work may be required
