Job Summary
Director, Advancement Systems, Strategy & Analytics leads development of data-driven advancement operations, including CRM governance, gift processing, and reporting, while shaping fundraising strategy with analytics, prospect research, and portfolio management. Oversees dashboards for metrics like Total Fundraising Progress and portfolio performance, guides revenue forecasting and scenario modeling, and leads a team to ensure data integrity, system optimization, and scalable philanthropy. Requires senior-level leadership, experience in complex nonprofit/academic/healthcare settings, and strong collaboration with fundraising leadership to drive strategy and performance across advancement functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of relevant experience in complex nonprofit/academic/healthcare organizations
- Experience leading advancement systems, analytics, and prospect development functions
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills
- Experience partnering with fundraising leadership to inform strategy, forecasting, and performance management
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence decision-making
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in advancement operations, data governance, and reporting
