Job Summary
Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including multi-currency consolidation and intercompany accounting to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting across all entities. Lead and develop the General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Tax & Treasury teams while overseeing day-to-day treasury operations, cash management, and FX exposure. Drive continuous improvement of ERP systems, automate manual processes, and establish robust internal controls to support Scandit's global growth. Perform technical accounting research under IFRS, US GAAP, or Swiss GAAP FER and lead annual statutory audits across relevant jurisdictions. Act as deputy to the Senior Director, Group Controlling on governance matters and partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Revenue, and external advisors.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, consolidation and tax
- several years leading and developing teams
- A recognized professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Swiss GAAP FER) in a multi-entity, international environment
- Solid tax expertise across corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT and other indirect taxes
- Experience owning or overseeing treasury and cash management
- A track record of scaling accounting operations and strengthening internal controls in a high-growth company
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or a comparable ERP system)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Business fluent English required, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in external audit is a plus
