Job Summary
Direct and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and fixed assets. Manage the month-end and year-end close process, prepare financial statements, and ensure GAAP compliance while developing internal controls. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, preparing journal entries and reviewing reconciliations. Work closely with external auditors, review client settlements, and oversee parent company reporting and intercompany transactions. Lead and develop the accounting team, establish performance expectations, and recommend system improvements and process automation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Eight or more years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and GAAP
- Experience managing audits and financial compliance
- Experience with Oracle Fusion accounting software
- Advanced Excel and accounting software skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Experience with accounting for multiple-entity and international consolidations
- Must be willing and able to work independently on assigned projects
- Strong initiative with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including prioritization and follow-through
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Supervisory experience
- Strong attention to detail with a process improvement mindset
- Good oral and written communication skills
