Job Summary
Director of Accounting responsible for leading the company’s global accounting infrastructure, financial close, accounting policy, and internal-control governance across domestic and international operations. Lead the global general ledger, balance-sheet governance, and reconciliation standards; own the global accounting policy framework aligned with U.S. GAAP; support public-company reporting and disclosures; strengthen internal controls in line with SOX and internal-audit standards. Guide ERP transformation, scalable accounting processes, chart-of-accounts design, and financial-system architecture; oversee governance of ERP platforms and reconciliation tools such as BlackLine. Drive global process standardization and operational efficiency, and develop a high-performing, multi-country accounting organization. Collaborate with the Controller, CFO, IT, Sales, and other business leaders to support strategic financial initiatives and enterprise decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
- 15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Experience leading global accounting operations and multi-country teams
- Experience with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX
- ERP implementations and finance transformation
- Ability to interact with senior leadership and drive strategic initiatives
