Job Summary
Direct and oversee all accounting operations for Health New England; drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Partner with CFO and ELT to provide insights into performance, risks, and opportunities; develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team; coordinate audits and statutory reporting; manage cash and treasury activities; drive process improvements and cross-functional collaboration with Baystate Health and regulators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- Healthcare or managed care experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, STAT, FASB, GAAS, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with statutory reporting and financial audits
- Bachelor’s degree required
