Job Summary
Director to develop and grow the Accounting Advisory practice in the Boston market. Lead delivery of services including IPO-readiness assessments, complex accounting policy advisement under US GAAP and IFRS, restatement support, financial reporting, and transformation of finance/accounting functions. Manage client accounts, projects, staffing, budgets, and timelines; foster strong client relationships; drive new business opportunities and service line expansion; mentor and develop team members; stay ahead of AI-enabled solution opportunities and ensure compliance with data protection and professional standards. Requires deep accounting expertise, leadership, and a hands-on approach to delivering high-quality advisory services to local clients.
Required Qualifications
- CPA or CA certification
- 12+ years of related management consulting experience or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP and/or IFRS) and ability to advise on complex technical accounting issues
- Big Four or equivalent consulting background
- Excellent client relationship management and leadership skills
- Ability to work with executive audiences and manage multiple engagements
