Job Summary
Develops acquisition and sourcing strategies for the Command Systems Business Unit, ensuring complete program plans with accurate schedules, budgets, and make/buy decisions before execution. Leads supply chain program execution, managing resource planning, material cost forecasting, and risk/opportunity resolution while briefing the Program Management Office on cost and schedule performance. Conducts program reviews with suppliers and subcontractors, making decisions affecting subcontractor performance to ensure they meet established milestones, schedules, and compliance requirements. Works with the Supplier Management Team to establish objective milestones and verify adherence to contractual specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience (or 8 years with a Masters) in defense or aerospace systems and/or management in development or production projects
- Experience managing people
- Subcontracting experience including working knowledge of basic construction terms and industry practices
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain management techniques, practices or theories gained through wide seasoning and/or special development
- Typically, a broad functional knowledge
- Experience in leading managers and/or professionals to achieve projects cost, performance, and schedule requirements
- Experience creating and maintaining trusted relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering and/or technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain management on a major program
- Master's Degree in a Business or Technical field
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management and individual contributors
- Demonstrated experience in interfacing seamlessly with functional teams, customers and major subcontractors in an IPT structure
- Program Management experience with earned value management system (EVMS) program
- Experience with Firm Fixed Price and Cost Type Construction contracts and subcontracts using design-build and a design-bid-build execution strategy
- Strong analytical skills
