Job Summary
Directives Coordinator responsible for coordinating FAA FS Publications directives projects, serving as a point of contact for directives advice/consent, and managing tracking and reporting using SharePoint and other collaboration tools. Tasks include organizing publications packages, applying edits and formatting, reviewing FS Directives and related documents (eFCPs), routing for review/signature, updating tracking sites, distributing packages to stakeholders for review, and maintaining compliance with accessibility standards (Section 508). Requires extensive use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Visio), Adobe Acrobat, WinZip, and the EDMS, plus ability to interpret and apply FS directives processes and engage with multiple FAA divisions and senior technical advisors. Strong written and verbal communication, project coordination, and document-management skills are essential, as is the ability to manage daily activities within company policies and participate in ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Ability to pass customer background check for access to facilities, equipment and property
