Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of directional drilling operations, leading a field crew to ensure efficient and safe execution of utility projects. Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment while reviewing project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guarantee optimal performance. Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies, identifying and resolving on-site challenges to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Report project progress and key updates to stakeholders and management. This full-time, on-site role in Virginia requires hands-on expertise in directional drilling and HDD equipment, with a CDL preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in directional drilling operations, including HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in utility construction
- Proficient in interpreting and executing project plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record
