Job Summary
Identify utilities for horizontal directional drilling to install underground conduits and fiber optic cables. Operate a horizontal directional drilling rig in collaboration with a locator to successfully install coaxial and fiber systems. Ensure public safety and other underground installations by reading utility locations and coordinating daylight illumination. Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site daily. Maintain high-quality work standards while solving practical problems in an urban environment. Requires a clean Class A driver's license and at least two years of experience operating Vermeer or Ditchwitch rigs.
Required Qualifications
