Job Summary
Operate drilling equipment to complete assigned projects; perform drilling in standard and high-risk areas with live utilities; review field designs and communicate discrepancies to supervisor; document pothole and bore logs; perform conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed; complete general restoration and cleanup; uphold safety as the top priority and comply with government orders; requires field mobility and ability to travel/adjust to overtime and varied shifts; 3+ years directional drilling experience preferred; must be able to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 70 lbs; valid ID and CDL considerations apply; strong problem-solving, time management and customer service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of directional drilling experience
- Valid government-issued photo ID for verification
- Driver’s license required if role involves driving
- Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
- Ability to travel daily
- Ability to work outdoors year round in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70lbs as needed
- Ability to work outdoors and in tight spaces, elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing
- Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multi-task and shift between tasks
- Safety-focused with adherence to internal safety standards
- Class A CDL preferred
