Job Summary
Operate directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities safely and efficiently; interpret job prints; set up jobsite safety devices (cones, barricades, signage, trench safety) and load/unload equipment and materials. Inspect vehicles and trailers for proper loading and safe transport; stock trucks with necessary materials; maintain and clean drilling equipment; use hand tools to dig and expose existing utilities with minimal disruption. Guide and direct laborers and other field staff on site; perform drilling operations; restore the jobsite to company standards post-operation; communicate with customers and team about specifications and progress; take ownership of site safety and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Must pass a pre-employment drug test; CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain within 30 days. English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. Able to meet physical demands (lifting 50+ lbs, bending, digging, standing/walking for extended periods) and work on-site in variable weather conditions.
