Directeur.trice technique Maya responsible for leading Maya-based pipeline tools and asset workflows across VFX/CG production. Collaborates with Pipeline department to design, develop, and maintain scalable tools and workflows for assets, ensuring interoperability with multiple software in the pipeline. Provides front-line artist support on assets and production plans, diagnoses issues, maintains scripts/workflows, performs QA on assets, and addresses revision notes. Designs and optimizes asset workflows across departments, aligns workflows with production standards, and identifies friction points to ensure pipeline coherence. Develops and maintains publish tools for modelling/texturing, validates assets per technical specifications, and improves publish reliability. Develops and maintains tools within Autodesk Maya, ensuring interoperability between digital creation software, and adapts workflows to different environments. Documents tools, trains users, and collaborates with teams to ensure high-quality delivery. Permanent, full-time contract; strong emphasis on collaboration, in-person studio work at Montréal locations; requires a Bachelor's in related field or equivalent experience, 5+ years in VFX/AAA game production, plus proficiency in Python, Maya, Linux, and preferably C++.
