Job Summary
National Director, Operational Excellence responsible for defining, improving, and implementing the vision and tools for continuous improvement across McKesson Canada’s supply chain. Leads the center of excellence, trains management teams, standardizes processes, and drives sustainable performance improvements. Develops training programs, standard processes, and management routines; fosters a culture of operational excellence; coordinates national SOPs across distribution centers; and identifies opportunities for Lean principles and AI integration within the business processes. Requires strong interpersonal communication, Lean Six Sigma knowledge, multisite program leadership, and ability to travel (20%-50%). Bilingual French-English is an asset; the role supports internal/external clients outside Quebec and/or the United States. The pay range is $120,800–$201,400 with potential for additional compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar management or continuous improvement role within supply chain, inventory management, merchandise flow, or production operations in distribution centers
- Degree in engineering or business administration is an asset
- Experience implementing a system of excellence in a multi-site environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and sound decision-making abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is an asset
- Ability to travel 20%-50% of time
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
