Job Summary
Lead the SEO team of two consultants to improve client site visibility, driving revenue and profitability. Supervise audits, present recommendations, and deliver strategic proposals for natural search optimization. Advise the client portfolio on SEO strategy, recommend technical and content optimizations, and manage link-building initiatives. Collaborate with marketing, editorial, and technical teams to implement projects, then track results and integration progress through monthly reporting. Contribute to the agency's SEO R&D. Based in Aix-en Provence with hybrid remote work, this role requires a Master-level candidate with at least seven years of SEO experience in an agency or advertiser setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in organic search (SEO) in a digital marketing agency and/or as an advertiser
- Master's degree or equivalent level
- Management of a team of 2 SEO consultants
- Supervision of SEO audits and presentation of recommendations
- Strategic proposal development
- Client advisory on organic search strategy
- Pre-conception of optimizations on various organic search levers
- Accompaniment of marketing, editorial, and technical teams in the implementation of optimization projects
- Netlinking management
- Tracking of results and integration progress via monthly reporting
- Participation in the agency's SEO R&D
- Higher education in marketing or computer science
- Experience working on sites with high page volume (+10,000 pages)
- Technical SEO mindset
- Professional English (not required but welcomed)
- Willingness to travel
- No administrative work authorization requirements (e.g., residence permit, work permit)
