Job Summary
Senior Director of Product Management to lead and evolve Genetec's product organization through its next growth phase. You will build structure, strengthen teams, and drive impact in a B2B, technology-driven environment, collaborating with Directors and Product Managers. Key responsibilities include establishing scalable product management processes, driving agile delivery and post-launch optimization, ensuring disciplined lifecycle management, implementing measurable performance indicators, and guiding portfolio strategy aligned with business goals. You will lead and develop the product management team, identify skill gaps, foster a collaborative and high-performing culture, and ensure cross-functional alignment with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations. This role requires strong execution, strategic influence, and ability to translate roadmaps into business outcomes, with travel up to 15% and fluency in French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 20 years of experience in product management, including senior leadership roles
- Proven ability to implement product management processes and operational frameworks
- Experience scaling product teams in organizations of similar size
- Willing and able to travel ~15% of the time
- Strong background in B2B and technology environments
- Experience with subscription-based product portfolios
- Engineering background (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to align with executive stakeholders
- Experience with pragmatic marketing principles (asset)
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
