Job Summary
Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and community events while facilitating meaningful social connections to reduce isolation. Assist with meal preparation according to dietary needs, support light household chores, and help with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting in a respectful manner. Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors. Uphold privacy, confidentiality, and dignity while working a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight. Maintain a caring, patient approach to client support.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or higher in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NSW Driver's License

- Previous experience in disability or aged care
