Job Summary
Provide service and supports to individuals with ASD, including social and communication challenges. Implement goals from the individual's plan of care, collect data, and document progress while monitoring behavior modification programs. Assist individuals with behaviors, hygiene, and work skills, including developing structured activities using TEACCH methods and task analysis. Administer medications, CPR/First Aid, and food preparation per diet orders. Write incident reports, complete paperwork, and ensure compliance with agency policies and safety procedures. Work cooperatively with supervisors, co-workers, and guardians to uphold individual rights and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in outside elements year round (as needed)
- Administer CPR/First Aid, if needed
- Administer medications, if applicable
- Be flexible in regard to work schedule, assignments, and procedures
- 2nd and 3rd shifts are the only ones available at this time
