Job Summary
Provide one-on-one care to youth and young adults when primary caregivers are unavailable, ensuring client safety and well-being. Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, ambulation, cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Prepare and maintain records of client progress and report changes in condition to the manager. Actively promote mental alertness through age-appropriate activities and instruct clients on household management, nutrition, and hygiene. Participate in case reviews to evaluate client needs and plan continuing services while adhering to all agency policies. Attend required in-service training and pass a criminal background check including fingerprinting. This role offers a part-time position with an opportunity for full-time employment at Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a strong service orientation, including active listening, critical thinking skills, and close monitoring of clients
- Minimum of three references required
- Must have an automobile and a valid driver's license
- Must have proof of car insurance
- Pass a criminal background check including fingerprinting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending and lifting
Desired Qualifications
- More than two years or experience preferred
