Job Summary
Direct Support Staff at Sevita REM Community Services provides person-centered, community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting participants with personal hygiene, helping them achieve developmental goals (e.g., budgeting, exercise, nutrition), fostering meaningful relationships, and helping participants engage in community activities. Must be compassionate, patient, reliable, and capable of multi-tasking; requires a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance.
