Job Summary
Provide daily support at home and in the community, helping plan and implement daily routines and activities for adults with developmental disabilities. Assist individuals with personal care, meals, and community outings while supporting household cleaning and maintenance tasks. Document observations, progress, and concerns, and implement established treatment and support plans. Provide physical intervention in crisis situations when necessary and maintain required certifications including CPR/First Aid, MAP, SOLVE, and HR/DPPC. Ensure individuals are treated with dignity and in alignment with Human Rights policies. Work Monday through Friday 7am-3pm at an entry-level rate of $18.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Willingness to transport individuals
- Commitment to supporting culturally diverse populations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in human services or with similar populations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, person-centered environment
