Job Summary
Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety and security of youth ages 15-21 with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Deliver therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment while engaging youth to teach and prompt appropriate behaviors. Assist with Activities of Daily Living skills and design house-specific routines and chores to support individualized growth. Maintain accurate documentation including progress notes and incident reports using strong organizational and communication abilities. Work with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, education, and therapists to influence treatment plans for at-risk youth.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA
- Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment
- Devereux drug-free workplace, drug screening required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred
